Andy Goldsworthy
Andy Goldsworthy is a British sculptor, photographer and environmentalist producing site-specific sculpture and land art situated in natural and urban settings. to create his work he makes sculptures out of sticks and logs which he uses to create unnatural objects and forms which he then captures

Goldsworthy uses a lot of photography in his work because that is the only way his work can exist and extends the lifetime of his work. According to Goldsworthy, "Each work grows, stays and decays"
this phrase can link back to the theme of destruction because his work slowly decays away and gets destroyed, like the forest as a whole Inspired by Goldsworthy's technique and similarities to my project i feel that displaying my work in a forest and capturing it would be a really effective way to display my work showing that nothing last forever and we as a species are only temporary |
